Ensuring battery longevity
While we already had a handy guide about proper scooter maintenance, there are some things worth mentioning again. In case of batteries the best way to make sure they will keep their voltage is to have them work for a bit, even if the scooter isn’t used for an extended period of time. A vehicle left unused for weeks, can experience a drop in voltage in its battery, resulting in inability to use it when needed. Does it mean you have to ride your vehicle every day? Not at all, just turn on the ignition key for a minute or two, to let the battery work for a bit at least 2 times a week.Where to find the VIN number in mobility scooters
A very common question about mobility scooters comes from our customers that need to register the vehicle. All of our scooters come with certificates that contain all necessary information to register them with DVLA. One of the necessary elements is the VIN number of the vehicle. It can also be found on the attached certificate, but also on the machine in two places. One would be a small plate which is located under the scooter, near the rear right wheel. Another common place for VIN number location would be on the inside of the front part, near where the user’s legs are when driving. How to lock the steering wheel
Locking the steering wheel is one of the activities tied closely to scooter security. Thankfully, the manufacturer has made the process very easy to do:- First you have to turn the steering wheel to the left side. In case of ZT63 you might want to try to move it slightly about.
- While having done so, with the ignition key in the lock, you have to press it in and then turn it counter-clockwise.
