Warranty Statement

The One-Year Limited Warranty issued by Veleco Sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Poland, Czestochowa 42-202, Bernarda Ludwika Hantkego 7, registered in the National Court Register under entry No. KRS: 0000878290, NIP No.: 573-292-38-76, REGON No.: 387919068 (“Veleco” or “Warrantor”), provides additional rights in addition to those granted under the applicable consumer law of the country of purchase or delivery. This manufacturer’s warranty is voluntary and provides additional benefits that do not limit or affect any statutory consumer rights.

Any Customer (“Warrantee”) who has purchased Goods (“Products”) directly from Veleco may choose to claim warranty service under either the Veleco One-Year Limited Warranty or the applicable consumer law of the country of purchase.

Veleco is not liable to perform any warranty service requests submitted by members of the Veleco Authorized Reseller Network or their Customers under any additional warranty terms outside of Veleco’s One-Year Limited Warranty or applicable consumer law.

If a product was purchased from a member of the Veleco Authorized Reseller Network, Consumers may claim service directly from the Retail Seller under the Veleco One-Year Limited Warranty, any additional warranty terms provided by that seller, or under applicable consumer law.

Important: The Veleco One-Year Limited Warranty terms and conditions do not apply to claims under consumer law.

Statement and Assurance of the Warrantor

The Warrantor hereby declares and warrants to the Holder of the Warranty that the Products were produced correctly, in accordance with the Agreement and technical specifications, and in accordance with the Warrantor’s best knowledge, current technical standards, and applicable law. Through this Warranty, the Warrantor assumes liability for defects in the Product caused by a serious failure to meet its obligations.

The Liability of the Warrantor Resulting from the Warranty

The Warrantor shall be liable to the Holder of the Warranty for any defects in the Goods that appear after the date of sale, within the warranty period stated in Section III of this document, provided the Product has been used correctly and for its intended purpose.

The Term of the Warranty

The liability of the Warrantor under this Warranty begins on the date of sale of the Product and lasts for:

  • Scooter – 12 months
  • Battery – 6 months

Limitation of Liability

Except for the statutory rights under applicable consumer law, all warranties, conditions, and other terms not expressly included in this warranty are excluded. Veleco is not liable for any promises, conditions, or warranties regarding service other than those stated in this document.

Veleco is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages not directly resulting from its actions. These exclusions do not apply to:

  • Death or personal injury;
  • Fraud or gross negligence;
  • Fraudulent misrepresentation; or
  • Any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded as a matter of law.

What Does This Warranty Cover

This Warranty covers only Veleco-branded products and accessories that show defects resulting from material or manufacturing faults, improper production, or assembly inconsistent with the manufacturer’s specifications, for one year from the original retail purchase date by the end-user.

Covered parts include, but are not limited to:

  • Bearings
  • Rubber components
  • Bushings
  • Plastic components (except body panels)
  • Electronic controllers
  • Harnesses
  • Chargers
  • Other electrical subassemblies

Note: The above parts are covered only for defects caused by material or manufacturing faults and not for normal wear and tear during normal use.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not apply to the following types of damage or defects:

  • Damage caused by the customer, third parties, or force majeure.
  • Damage resulting from unauthorized modifications, adjustments, or replacement of parts made without Veleco’s authorisation.
  • Cosmetic damage (including scratches, cracks, dents, or discolouration) occurring after delivery.
  • Damage caused by operation inconsistent with Veleco’s user manual or published technical guidelines.
  • Defects caused by normal wear and tear or the natural aging of consumable parts, unless such defects result from manufacturing or material faults. This includes: tyres, brakes, brake pads, rims, batteries, seat covers, shock absorbers, frame geometry, engine damage due to insufficient oil, and battery damage caused by improper or irregular charging.
  • Damage caused by the use of non-Veleco or incompatible third-party components.
  • Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, fire, flooding, or other external causes.
  • Damage resulting from maintenance, repair, or service (including upgrades or expansions) not performed by Veleco or an authorised representative.
  • Damage caused by negligence, lack of proper maintenance, or failure to perform scheduled inspection checks.

Holder of Warranty Responsibilities

The Warrantee is responsible for proper maintenance, storage, and use of the Products. Periodic inspections, as specified in the user manual, must be performed at or before 3/9/12/18/21 months from purchase. Failure to perform such inspections may void the manufacturer’s warranty if the defect is caused by lack of maintenance.

Veleco Procedures in the Event of a Warranty Claim

If a service claim is submitted during the warranty period, Veleco will, at its option:

  1. Repair the Veleco Product using new or equivalent parts, or
  2. Replace the Product with the same model or one of equivalent performance and reliability, or
  3. Issue a refund in exchange for return of the Product.

All transportation costs related to warranty repairs, including collection and return of the product, shall be borne by Veleco. Customers will not incur any shipping charges for warranty services.

Complaint Procedure

  1. The Warrantee shall notify Veleco of any discovered defect within 3 working days of discovery to benefit from this voluntary manufacturer’s warranty.
  2. Claims should be submitted in writing to the place of purchase and include proof of purchase and a completed warranty card.
  3. Veleco will review the complaint within 14 business days of receipt, and repair times will be agreed individually.
  4. Any issues not covered by this warranty are regulated by applicable provisions of the Civil Code.

Transferability of the Warranty

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable. Second-hand or resold products are not covered by this manufacturer’s warranty unless explicitly confirmed by Veleco or an authorised distributor.

End Statement

No member of the Veleco Authorized Reseller Network, agent, or employee is authorised to make any alterations to this warranty. If any term is found illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid. In case of discrepancies between translated versions, the English version shall prevail.
